Ashley Sauceda

Owner & Director

Ashley, the owner and director of Willow Grove, has worked in early education for 10+ years. Ashley was a Montessori child herself in some of the most formative years of her life.  Early education has been in Ashley's family for generations. After running a successful & intimate Montessori preschool in San Francisco she is excited to be making the transition to San Anselmo with her husband and two sons.

Ashley founded Willow Grove as a place where families can receive the benefits of a Montessori education while also receiving that 1:1 attention that so many children need in our education system today.

Michelle

Montessori Tutor

A resident of Marin County for over 25 years, Michelle began her career in early childhood  education as a member of the Volunteer Corps pairing university students with inner city youth for 1:1 tutoring. This after school program focused on building a love of learning through relationship building, individual instruction, choice, and nurture. She is a recent Bird Launcher (formally known as an Empty Nester) who raised two children finishing their K-12 experiences at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. She has a keen understanding of the Marin County private and public school systems having held leadership positions on boards, parent associations  and in class volunteering. More importantly, Michelle is aware of the unique possibilities and pressures that young students and their parents navigate in this beautiful place that we call home. She is so excited to help the children of Willow develop a lifelong love of learning through this nourishing environment and methodology.
